| Kyulon is an electrostatic holding device developed using our own advanced technologies. This device has an electrode embedded within a special plastic composite base.A direct current potential is applied to the electrode, giving the surface the ability to attract and secure objects that are in contact with it, such as paper, film, and metal foil. This holding device is widely used for applications such as X-Y recorders, X-Y plotters, and digitizers. |

| ・ |
Large adhesive force, offering a shearing resistance of
3 to 5kgs for A4 sized recording paper |
| ・ |
The adhesive force dissipates immediately after power is
turned off, allowing quick removal materials |
| ・ |
The plate is made by a thermoforming process so that superior flatness can be achieved. |
| ・ |
When a 1kv DC voltage is applied, the current consumption is less than 50 micro amperes, a value well outside the range that might be harmful to the human body |
| ・ |
The surface layer deposited on the electrode has a coating thickness of 0.5 − 2mm.
The surface layer, the electrode array and substrate, form an integral structure,
thereby ensuring superior durability.
|
| ・ |
The standard type flammability is equivalent to UL-HB. It can also be made to comply with UL standard 94 V-O. |
